This month’s theme was ‘80’s exercise‘…I kid you not ^^
For some reason I had a LOT of trouble drawing/sketching this month, I’m not sure whether it was me, the outfits or the poses but something wasn’t working too well. My flatmate (who is a fab artist btw) also mentioned how difficult she was finding it so that made me feel a bit better about my craptastic sketches
There where 3 models this month and most of the time they were all posing together…talk about speed sketching
Sketching 3 models in 5 minutes is hard
This was a 10 minute challenge sketch ~ the challenge was to create a QVC style advert for a new ‘fitness product’
As usual I couldn’t think of anything and cheated

Another challenge, 15 minutes this time. The challenge was to draw something ‘hanna barbera’ style. I was at a loss what to draw until flatmate pointed out that I should draw a Benedict-a-sarus (back story: a friend, having seen Benedict Cumberbatch, said that he looks like a brontosaurus. Scarily enough, I can see where she was coming from)
Final pose/challenge (can’t remember how long this was). The challenge was to create a trashy woman’s magazine. Sometimes I wish I had proper ideas for the challenges
So all in all not the best Dr Sketchy’s for me drawing wise (though I did win a latex bow from Arcanum Accessories on the raffle) but it was still a fun night. I am coming to the conclusion that I’m just not creative enough to be an artist, give me free rain and my mind goes blank
